MyArtBroker.com is the website which resells the pieces of Banksy.  They have stated that the value of the piece “Girl with Balloon” has being increasing in the last years.

Joey Syer, the co-founder of MyArtBroke.com said;

“Prices now are regularly exceeding £ 115,000 for signed authenticated prints. The auction result will only propel this further and given the media attention this stunt has received, the lucky buyer would see a great return on the £ 1.02 million they paid last night.”

He further said;

“This is now part of art history in its shredded state and we would estimate Banksy has added a minimum 50% to its value, possibly as high as being worth £ 2 million plus.”

Last year, “Girl with Balloon” was voted as the “Best-loved work of art” of UK.

No matter what, identity of Banksy is still a mystery!
