In wake of Christmas, President Donald Trump made sure to deliver a speech on religion, and it was one of the most powerful and compelling things we’ve seen to date.
Namely, the President reminded all Americans of the essential importance of Christmas, a tradition hugely neglected during Obama’s leadership.
During the lighting ceremony at the White House, President Trump walked through the White House corridors and spoke on the true meaning of Christmas.
“The Christmas Story begins 2,000 years ago with a mother, a father, their baby son, and the most extraordinary gift of all—the gift of God’s love for all of humanity,” he began.
“Whatever our beliefs, we know that the birth of Jesus Christ and the story of his life forever changed the course of human history,” he continued.
It was important for Trump to focus on Jesus Christ and what he means for America and its citizens, noting this is the time to revive that Christian spirit once again.
“Each and every year at Christmas time we recognize that the real spirit of Christmas is not what we have, it’s about who we are – each one of us is a child of God,” Trump continued, according to LifeSite News.
“That is the true source of joy this time of the year. That is what makes every Christmas ‘merry,’” he stated.
The mention of Christ is a topic very dear to Trump’s heart, which is exactly what motivated him to step forward and weigh in on it.
Under Obama, Americans were forced to erase the true significance of this holiday, and stopped wishing everyone a “Merry Christmas.” Instead, we got to ‘adopt’ the more contemporary “Happy Holidays” salutation, a greeting determined to eradicate everything this holiday is exactly about.
Trump made it his mission to bring Jesus closer to the American people once again, and he did so with dignity and style, unlike anything we’ve seen in a president so far.

The video soon became America’s most favorite narrative to watch, with people drawing inspiration from Trump’s words and taking it to heart.
Christmas is basically days away, therefore, this was the ideal time to rekindle that transitional holiday flavor we’ve gotten used to living without…thanks to Obama, of course.
